Milestones:
Finn's first tooth finally popped through about a week after his first birthday! He still prefers to hold on to our finger so he is not completely walking on his own yet. So, so close though!

Loves:
We got the ok to switch to cow's milk! Finn made the switch from formula with NO PROBLEM! Praise God! We are happy to not have to pay $30 a week for formula!
He is starting to become obsessed with his pacifier or "nu-nu" as we call it).
His favorite toy these days is his Mickey Mouse inflatable ball pit tent.  We really appreciate the gift from Aunt Kay.

First Birthday Party

  

I had way too much fun planning Finn's first birthday! I decided on an airplane theme so I could use a lot of the decor from his nursery. It was very fitting since that first year truly "flew" by. We invited all our family and closest friends and we were so honored that everyone traveled over to watch Fin-man turn one! I spent days decorating including turning his high chair into a little airplane! We served pretzels and peanuts (of course!) along with cake, Matt's homemade kettle corn, and airplane cookies. Party favors were mini aviator sunglasses for all the kiddos.  We had "in-flight entertainment" which was a slideshow Matt put together of Finn's first year highlights.

Finn really enjoyed his cake. He was a little overwhelmed with all the attention at first so we really had to coax him into his high chair airplane. Once he tasted a little bite of cake, though, he dug right in! All in all it was a great day!

Watch Me Grow: 11 months

       

  11 Month Stats:
This kid is a little comedian. His personality is starting to come out! He will dangle a spoon in his mouth just to make us laugh. 

Milestones: 

 We are SO close to walking. Matt and I just sit around waiting on him to take off! He's just a little scared to let go of our finger!
-He is such a good sleeper! We put him in is crib with a little bottle and he just falls asleep. Praise Jesus!  

Loves: 

Food! He will eat pretty much anything! Still no teeth yet, so just soft foods for now.
Dogs! This kid will cackle out loud if he sees one walk by outside!
