I've been keeping a note of baby names on my iphone since 2009 just for fun. It's gotten pretty substantial.
Girl Names:
(I love the 1 or 2 syllable names for girls. It just sounds like you're a cool, confident chic. I tend to lean towards old classics that are coming back in style)
- Arlow (call her Lo)
- Ava (getting too popular)
- Alba
- Auden
- Evelyn* (call her Evie) (also a reference to my favorite movie: Pearl Harbor)
- Ellery
- Everlee
- Eisley
- Nora*(top contender)
- Ree
- Hazel Lou (after my 2 grandmothers- Matt thinks it sounds like a grandmother name, but I informed him the Julia Roberts has a girl named Hazel)
- Haven
- Olivia (Matt's addition) I would want to call her Liv of Livy
- Mila
- Nova (simply because of the meaning: chases butterflies)
- Mirin
(I'm a fan of surnames as first names. They sound strong, yet also cool like when a coach calls you by your last name)
- Cohen* (this has been a top contender for a while, but people keep saying like "Cohen O'brien?" No people. That's CoNan.)
- Crue
- Declan (stole this one from Revenge)
- Auden (too femenine?)
- Beckett (kind of makes me think of David Beckum in a good way)
- Finley* (call him Finn) Top Contender
- Nolan (too grandpa?)
- Gavin
- Jude
- Alden
- Leland
- Rowan
- Larson
- Porter
- Rush
- Ryker
- Tucker (found out this is a family name- my 5 great on mom's side grandfather)
- Sterling (my 5 great grandfather on dad's side)
- Allenger (My Maw-maw's uncle)
- Dylan
- Mitchell
- Mercer
- Porter
